Surmesur returns to Pitti UomoJournal
For a second consecutive year, Surmesur will have a presence at Pitti Uomo, the world’s most anticipated men’s style event, where the objective is to see and be seen.
The twice-yearly event attracts sartorially savvy men from all across the globe to Florence, Italy, where the activity della giornata is to simply sit or stand around and look good, showing off one’s sprezzatura – the Italian art of studied carelessness.
Pitti Uomo 92 – the 92nd edition – takes place June 13-16.
The peacock parade is widely covered by shutterbugs who share their photos online, from the tiniest style blog to the sites of the most respected authorities in men’s fashion.
Surmesur’s participation last year was documented in photos appearing on GQ online and New York Times Fashion, among many others. Given the opportunity to go back, how could we say no?
Surmesur’s dandy trio
Charles Desnoyers, Montreal-based Style Consultant, Instagrammer and all-around dapper man, will once again represent Surmesur on this particular stage. This year, he will be accompanied by Peter Lloyd Greer, our elder statesman of style and beloved mentor to many Surmesurians.
They will be joined by Surmesur friend and respected fashion blogger Kish Raveendran (kishstyle.com). All three will be decked out in Surmesur styles designed specifically for Pitti Uomo.
Stay tuned for regular reports on what they’re doing, who they’re meeting and, most importantly, what they’re wearing at Pitti Uomo 92.
