Surmesur launches 6th annual Tie Up campaign for prostate cancer research

For a sixth consecutive year, Surmesur is selling a specially designed tie and pocket square to raise funds for prostate cancer research.

The 2016 edition of the Tie Up campaign honors the family. Because prostate cancer affects not only men, but their wives, daughters and entire families, the design of this year’s accessories incorporates blue and pink squares, representing both men and women.

Since 2010, the annual campaign has raised more than $50,000 and this year’s goal is to raise a further $24,000.

The funds raised are donated to Surmesur’s local partners working in the field of prostate cancer research. All proceeds from sales at Surmesur Pittsburgh will be given to the Pittsburgh University Medical Center.

In addition to being available in all Surmesur stores, the accessories can also be purchased online here. The tie sells for $30 plus tax, with $20 going to the cause; and the pocket square sells for $15 plus tax, with $5 going to the cause.
